Hilarity for Charity
Iconic stand-up James Gregory, will return to Broad River Electric Auditorium on Friday, February 19, 2016 for the 7th Annual Hilarity for Charity benefit comedy show.
All proceeds from the event will go toward helping veterans in need in our area.
“We’re very excited to have James coming back,” said Josh P. Crotzer, member services coordinator for Broad River Electric. “His shows are not only hilarious, but also have raised a lot of money for the beneficiaries.”
Gregory, whose wry sense of the absurd and master storytelling have earned him the reputation as the “funniest man in America,” first came to Broad River Electric in 2010 and again in 2011.

The event is presented by Broad River Electric Charities, a non-profit subsidiary of Broad River Electric Cooperative, whose purpose is to raise and distribute funds to other non-profits and charities in Union, Cherokee, and Spartanburg Counties. Since 2010, Hilarity for Charity as raised over $85,000 for local charities and causes.
