Operation Round Up
The monthly balance of participating member’s accounts are rounded up to the nearest dollar. That extra change goes to a benevolent fund that will assist organizations and goodwill missions in and around Broad River’s service area. The program is voluntary and members can easily opt-out at any time by contacting the Broad River office. Participating members will receive a statement of the tax deductable funds that have donate each year.
“The impact on the individual member is minimal,” explains Member Services Coordinator Josh Crotzer. “It would cost an average of $6 per year and never more than $12 annually, per account. However, consider what that change can do when it’s combined with rest of our membership. It has the potential to make a tremendous impact on our community.”
